Launched Kayak at 7:30AM – fished 7 hours 😉

The bite was on early throwing the Horny Toad in the weeds and slop along the shoreline.  Fun Bite for sure.  The biggest fish came early in the AM.  3.6lbs 18inches.  Was expecting great results thru out the day, but the bite got tough.  Blue bird day with no wind – made it tough. Caught most of my bass from the right cut going back to the long arm as well as the entrance into pond area.  Started punching grass and had sucess with T-Rig Creature baits.  Overall fun day, very interesting strip mine lake.  Did not use FFS but next time will.  I believe most of the females have spawned out.
