Fingerling
Lightning spooked the early topwater bite but encouraged fishing after it passed. No rain. Water temp 85 degrees. Bill Morris and I caught 28 bass and one bluegill AM only. Mainly used watermelon red horny toads and brush hogs, along with Senkos, and KVD 1.5 shallow-diving crank bait sexy shad, and shad colored Rat-L-Traps. Amazingly, fish were still in the shallows around the entire lake. Must have been due to the lightning. We’ll definitely go again. The property is well maintained.
