A guest and I fished from about 7 am to around 11 am. Caught the first fish on a frog fishing the launch area based upon the last member report. We received several hook ups on the frog, but only landed perhaps 3 on the frog.
Caught a total of around 16 bass, 1 crappie, and 1 blue gill. Most were caught on green lizards or red worms. Few exceed two pounds.

This is a very well maintained propery with the vegitation cut nicely. A car friendly site with no boat currently. The guest house / barn looks Massive. We peeked inside of the metal roll up doors to see a massive open area that could be used for many things.

The launch area is the shallow end of the lake with a great deal of moss. Most of our fish came from deeper water.

We could not handle the heat after 11, but I wanted to see this new club lake after viewing the photos anyway…..

Keep them coming Steve….. Good job!

Hey Bryan, you should have taken more time and thoroughly inspected the barn/house.  It’s got a great game room with beautiful bar, flat-screen television, wonderful chairs and tables.  The kitchen/eating area is first cabin.  And we particularly liked the fact that the property manager leaves the door ajar so that you can use the very nice restroom, if needed. Can’t wait until it is finished so we can plan a fishing party.  Bob Cantin/Bill Morris

Sounds wonderful. Count me in on the fishing party. Sounds like you could teach us some top water fishing tricks Bob. We did not proceed further into the house as we did not see Juan and did not want to intrude or go where we were not supposed to go obviously.

Good fishing my friends….
