Dan and I arrived at the lake @ 7:30 am (missed a turn as the Sonic sign is out) and launched into clear waters with lots of vegetation, a cool breeze (for Aug.) and cloudy skies. Could not establish a clear pattern, found the fish scattered through out the lake. Caught them on a varity of baits with cranks being the most productive. Harvested 10 from the 30+ we caught. Some in the 3 to 4 lb. range and one monster mouth that was on the skinny side, as were many of the others. Strong but not “stuffed”, harvesting should make this a truly great big bass lake, as the fish we caught had potential for real size. All in all a fun morning at a really nice property.

Having re-read my post, do not think we harvested any fish over 14 ins. Dan and I would much rather release than harvest. This is a wonderful lake and many of the fish have taken on that big bass body and mouth. The vegetation makes it tricky but the reward is great.
