Caught over 90 bass in a two day period at Waco Creek Ranch. The bass were as healthy as any we’ve seen in the club. The two largest bass were both over 8 pounds. Lots of bass in the 3 to 5 pound range.

Well done, gentlemen! Springtime!

shocked this lake is not booked the entire Spring. FYI, my favorite month is June before it gets real hot. I have caught at least 50 bass over 6 lbs over the years in June. Probably 25 over 7 lbs and 15 over 8 lbs. Great Lake!

I am going on my second year as a member of this great organization. Al Burns is my father. I went fishing with him at Waco Creek Lake on February 24 and 25. It was a great time. I live in Utah. It is worth the time and money to be a member of this great club.

I am an avid bass fisherman in Utah and the surrounding states. However, bass fishing is limited in Utah because of the cold winters, and the lakes are frozen over 4 to 5 months of the year. So, bass fishing in Utah can be limiting at times. I do enjoy ice fishing, but I would rather be bass fishing. Being a part of this club allows me to bass fish year-round. I have been very impressed. Since fishing the club’s lakes with my dad as a guest or as a member, I have caught five in the 8 lbs. range, two in the 9 lbs. range, and one in the 10 lbs. range. This is a dream come true.

I want to thank the management, lake owners, and everyone involved for producing great lakes and bass.

I know this message is late. I fished with my dad, Al Burns, at Waco Creek Lake, on February 24 and February 25. We caught a lot of the bass on the north end of the lake. We caught some bass on the south end of the lake. We caught a lot of bass close to the shoreline and a decent amount suspended or out in the open. We caught all of our bass on a drop shot rig using 2.5-to-4-inch jigs (June Bug color). I use a medium-action spinning rod. Since fishing the club’s lakes, I have caught hundreds of bass on a drop shot using 2.5-to-4-inch jigs. I believe I have caught all of my 7 lbs. bass, 8 lbs. bass, and 9 lbs. bass using the drop shot technique. Most of the bass I catch are usually out in the open away from the shoreline and suspended. Almost all of the big bass I have caught in the club’s lakes have been out in the open or suspended.
