Caught around 30 with fellow member George Poyner, harvested 8 under 14” and 4 Crappie. Senkos & Spinner Baits. Lake is full and crystal clear. Very nice property and the owners are awesome: we used the 2 man bass boat at the property and the wind was howling, so the battery took a beat down & we thought our day would be cut short after a sandwich break around 2:30. To our surprise here comes Mr. Julian with a “Fresh Battery”, now that is Southern Hospitality.
None of the fish we caught were over 2 1/2 pounds but man some of these little guys put up a big guy fight.

How are the weeds in Jullian? It’s one of my favorite lakes but it was pretty thick with weeds earlier in the summer. I’m ready to head back when the weeds die back.

Tim, yes salad is still thick & as noted by another member does limit the type of lures you select, along with where in the lake you can fish.

The vegetation will begin to die back within the next two weeks. And by Mid november be greatly reduced. Most lakes with vegetation issues are at their peak right now.
