Fry
We hit the water after the Cowboys game, got blown around a little under beautiful skies, and started catching fish. Lipless crankbaits were productive on the sides of the creek channel and along the levee shoreline in 10-12 ft water. As dusk approached, the bite got very aggressive just outside the inlet back to the boat ramp. My guest was a first time fisherman and had a blast. We “caught” over 25, but inexperience and poor guiding on my part led to many spit hooks. We landed 16, including 2 over 4 lbs, harvested 4 dinks and 4 nice crappie. Great lake! I will be back. Water was low, about 70 degrees, and slightly stained after the rain.
