Fished Spaeth from 12:30 to 6 this afternoon. As has been mentioned by others, this is a highly prolific fishery. Conditions were about perfect for this time of year – cloudy with showers early, steady breeze, water temp of 65 degf. Caught over 40 – about half were shallow on a freelined senko, caught about another 10 on topwater, rest were on rattle trap, swim bait, wacky worm. Caught some nice fish, best 4 were 4.5, 4.3, 3.12, 3.10. All the big fish were caught in the main 8-12’ deep section (2 on top water). Great place to fish from a kayak, easy to launch, lots to explore and enabled me to get into the really shallow water (caught a few fish in less than a foot of water). Great add to the club – thanks Steve!

We had a similar experience there last fall. Biggest fish caught in the large section near the rock cliffs. Water was so clear you could see fish hitting our lures. Lots of fun!

Saw tire tracks backing into the water at the launch, so yes on launching a small boat. Have a great time out there

Great Pete and thank you!

Unless they put rock there or lake full that pond king pontoon might be difficult. You have 4WD I know. Just be careful.
