Started fishing at about 9:30am. Tried fishing the south side of the lake for about 30 minutes with no luck then decide to head to the west side using the zman jackhammer and magdraft 5in swim bait (baby bass color way) and caught 5 In that area. After the bite had calmed down decided to head to the kayak launch area catching another 2. Then after decided to give the south side of the lake another go managing to catch another 2. All fish put up a good fight definitely a good day at speath lake.
