My wife and I hit Little A this past Saturday morning.  It was overcast the whole time we were there and misty for the first two hours.  This resutled in an excellent topwater bite.  My wife caught 6 Bass on a Buzzbait, her largest going 4lbs.  I had 9 Bass on a Frog.  My largest on the Frog was a skinny, older-looking Bass that still went 4lbs. but looked like it could have carried a lot more weight at some point in the past.  We both had larger fish on that shook off on the jump and missed a handful of others bites each. I’d guess we had a total of 20 to 25 blow ups. We fished Little A from 8am to 11am.  After 11am we switch to Wild Card and fished it the last hour of our reservation.  We caught 5 Bass here up to 3lbs.  My wife had 3 on Generals and I had 2 on a Spinnerbait.  It was the first time we had fished Wild Card.  Next time we’ll hit that lake first.  I liked the deeper back side of it, but only walked aorund the lake one time carrying my spinnerbait rod.  I needed to worm and jig fish that deeper bank.  Nice ltittle lake and a great additon to the Little A reservation.  We’ll be back soon.
