Enjoyed an afternoon of fishing on Monday at the beautiful Heartbrand property.  Was mostly clear with post-front 10-15 mph north winds.  Lake is a a foot or two below full, and water visibility is measured in inches.  Very little grass & weeds. 

Caught fish in many areas of the lake but none near the dam or in deepest parts.  Bite picked up in late afternoon as windspeed eased off some and sun was lower.  Picked up several over 5lb, including one unusually large girl.  As usual, some catfish hit bass lures but most twisted off before making it to the boat.

The fishing here gets better every trip!  Thanks to the owner for improvements made and to the club for this opportunity.
