My son, Cody, and I fished Double A from 7:30a until 2p. 

The lake is full and water temps in the 60’s with visibility to 3 feet. Double A is ringed by a 30- 45 foot wide area of underwater weeds and moss that holds fish but slimes your lure with almost every cast. We threw Choppos and Sexy Dogs early and caught fish sporadically along the shoreline, switching to Keitechs, Senkos, and Kreatures when the topwater slowed.. All of the fish were fat, healthy, and put up a hard fight.  There were no culls with the smallest fish at 17 inches. We boated 9 bass and lost probably five more.

After about 10am the wind came with a fury and made fishing difficult.  We had a good day though and anytime you can fish with your son makes for a fantastic experience!
