the day turned out perfect
weather wise, it was gorgeous..
Yes we hit the 100+ mark for amount caught.
didn't land anything huge
but these fish all Identified
in the fight larger than they really were.

These Fish Are Healthy and pack a massive punch and a bad attitude.

Had A Great Day And
Thoroughly Enjoyed Fishing
with my good friend John.

When I was packing up for the day

Richard the property owner came down to visit, very friendly and interested in how we did and the amount of culls we removed

he is genuinely committed to making this a big bass lake,

He gave me a tour of the property on his quad ATV Very impressive amount of work he's doing to make sure of that.

Until The Next Adventure.

These bass are very strong for their size, if you get a 8 lb bass on you better be ready, it will be a fun challenge, better hang on. Had a 2.5lb take drag I had set while I had the almost 7 at my Tara outing last month.

This is for the land owner: I was up by the little bridge. Left of said bridge was something leaving the area that moved a lot of water. I scared it away 5 times that I went up to that area. I could see an enormous dark shadow swimming. When I left the area it evidently came back. It must be a humongous catfish. This thing could easily eat a 3-4 lb bass. Probably what it was hunting up there.

Thanks to the landowner for letting our members fish this lake. It is a great place to enjoy the day. Launch is really good and well marked. Could use another scoop of gravel at waters edge out about 5’. Sedge is nice for trailers. Nice place to fish. The canal is fun too. Didn't catch a tho g on that side but sure looks like there will be some good fish coming g from there!
