Well the fish were already wet so its a test of my resolve! I really cant think of a day where conditions were worse. But, we caught fish and didnt die! :)

We waited for most of the torrential rain to stop before launching. Temp 50, North wind 25 with gusts, water temp 59. Run-off from heavy rain has muddy water running into the shallows and the creek next to ramp looked like choclate milk.

Obviously all baits thrown were of the faster moving variety and when the fish hit, they really wanted the bait. Great fish in this lake for sure. 

The road from the gate is improved gravel road and even with the torrential rain was firm and in great shape all the way to the launch area.

Winter can go away now, Ive had enough!
