Friday night and Saturday morning it rained over 1”, along with a flat tire on the SUV, we didn’t get on the lake until noon.  Water temperature was 66-67 degrees, water clarity was about 1 ½’ and lake level down about 3 1/2’.  It was chiily and a bit challenging with a 20 mph wind out of the north.  We caught 61, with 10 of them 4 to 4 ½ pounds.  All the fish were fat and healthy.  A big spinner bait and a Texas rigged fluke were what worked. Caught them pretty much all around the lake.  The cove on the far right was the most productive along with the points.  The lake is clear of alge and most weeds, which was nice.  Only had to deal with rocks along the banks.  The trailer we stayed in is very nice and Ken, the owner, dropped by that eveing and we had a great chat with him.  We passed on fishing Sunday morning.  Was 38 degrees with an 18 mph wind out of the north.
