We hit this hidden ten-acre gem surrounded by turkeys, horses, and a curious kingfisher. The bass were active all day—dozens of smaller ones and six solid fish up to 4 pounds. Yum Dingers in watermelon red and flukes in watermelon black flake did steady work. The biggest bass smoked a Berkley Squarebull crankbait. Fish were holding all over the lake—best bites in the windy side just off the outside grass line. Wild and secluded, steady action. Father and son time make this one for the books.
