We fished from 8-3. Air temperatures started in the 50’s and warmed to the 80’s. Had a light south wind and sunshine most of the day. Lake was full and murky after recent rains.Bass were chasing shad along the banks early. Caught fish on chrome blueback traps all day. Fish were biting junebug senkos in the shallows on each side of the dam. We harvested 32 fish including three crappie.The crappie bit on a mooch minnow. Landowner had a fertilizer truck apply lime to the lake in the morning. Beautiful property and we had a good time!
