Fished 12:30-5:30p with my 21yo son and 6yo son. Water visibility 4” I suppose due to last week’s rains. The fish were a bit of a challenge to figure out, but once I did bite was fairly consistent. Caught 10, lost another 5. Removed 5. T-rigged green pumpkin worm fished in shallow spots and edge of grass. You basically either got the bite within the first couple hops or nothing. Tried other lures. Spinnerbait, splitshot rigged stick baits, glide bait, etc. T-rig hitting them in the head did it. Partners really didn’t fish. After about 15-20 minutes they just used their electronics while I figured it out. Oh well, I enjoyed having my sons with me regardless.

Special Note on the boats: The flat bottom john boat has a leak. Had to bail water from it every 10 minutes. Switched to the v-hull there after getting tired of bailing. It's transom isn't thick enough for my transom mount trolling motor. Needs a spacer. Felt like I fought boats as much as I did fish.
