Our annual trip to Coalgate included me, my brother, and good friend and fellow PWF member Gary Whisenhunt.  We stayed at the lodge and fished the lodge lake a few hours in the afternoon.  The lake is pretty overgrown with vegetation, and only about half is fishable.  We tried several baits, but the only thing that caught fish was a texas rigged worm.  In years past we’ve caught several larger fish on lodge lake, but this time only the smaller fish were biting.  The three of us caught 8 fish, with only one over 14”.  Not great, but enough for dinner.  Always enjoyable.
