About the first hour was fairly calm….and then the wind hit. Tried topwater without success. Watermelon flukes swam through the pads was most effective tactic used for the day. The merthiolate color needle worm was outstanding for the cull fish, but I was searching for the big fatties so I quit using it! :)

The wind made it fairly difficult to feel your line or bait for much of the day and there was no place to escape from it.

On to Acker lake tomorrow!
