I only thought it was windy on Saturday. Sunday brought more winds and higher gusts. Acker actually had whitecaps! In spite of the wind, we were able to get deep into the trees and find our fish there. They were located more in the 8-10 tree lines than the shallower 2-5 foot treeline. The wind made about 90% of the lake unfisable, so I feel pretty lucky we could find fish in 10% of the water! Watermelon and pumpkin were the most successful colors of the day in all baits used.
