My guest was unable to go so i fished by myself. I knew the wind would get up later in the day so i got there early to try and have some time when the wind was tolerable. My plan was good but the fish didnt really cooperate. Started on the eastern shoreline by the dam. nice and calm. Could not get bit on anything moving. Picked up a couple on fluke and tx rig. Then moved to the western shoreline by the dam. Same story, nothing would chase, but a couple on fluke and tx rig. Strangely nothing would bite a senko. Usually a foolproof offering here. Go figure. 

About 9:30 the wind started with a vengence and i began to drag the anchor. Time to find some semi-sheltered water and get back to tolerable. So I moved to the old tank dam and finally got the anchor to hold. Honed in on a pattern with a certain tx rig worm and caught all the fish i wanted. Left em biting about noon. Cleaned 16, which was plenty for me. 

I want to again tell the owners of the ranch how grateful i am to be able to fish here. Everything is always in top condition and they are very kind people. Thanks to PWF for making places like this available to us. Being able to scratch that itch on a Thrusday morning at such a beautiful place makes everything right in the world.
