Got to Timber Lake and fished from about 2:30 to 7:30.  Cloudy, temp in the low 80’s and heavy wind.  I love fishing this beautiful lake, but had trouble getting anything going.  Started with the fluke along the bank and in the shallows with no luck.  Finally got into an area that was somewhat sheltered from the wind and started getting hits on the wacky worm.  Finally about 5:30 the wind started to let up and by 6:00 it was almost clam.  Started with a the T-Rigg and had some good action until about 7:00.  All the fish were in the trees, not the shallows.  Didn't catch any big fish, but even the smaller ones were hard hitting fighters.  These are strong healthy fish. All in all a fun afternoon at a beautiful lake.  Already looking forward to coming back.
