Morning slot and arrived before 7am and were fishing by 7:20am and off water 11:30 am.

Water level still down likely 4 feet.  Rain coming!

Air temp 60’s and mid 70’s water temp low 60’s.

We launched and worked the lake counter clockwise.

We caught 36 bass with only 1 big girl throwback 6.80 lbs, 23+in!  We fished most of lake but southside still too shallow.  She was midlake near standing Timber and gave a good fight racing under the boat.  She did not breech the water during the fight but was a hard digger.

Took a friend as a 1st time guest.  He also is interested in joining PWF.

Culling has got to be making a difference for the larger Bass to get big.  Was surprised at the number of dinks.

The 6.80 lbs big girl looked like she is full of eggs, bloody tail, and likely days from spawning.
