Cody and I were on the water at 6:45am with an air temp of 55 degrees.  Water temp was 60-70 rising to 73 later in the day.  Visibility was about 4 feet.   

Topwater action was good in the morning, but fish did not seem interested in underwater lures until about noon when our guest, Ken Addington, arrived.

In addition to being a great guy and fun to be around, Ken is a fishing genius and gave us many tips and suggestions that immediately paid off.  After his arrival the bass began busting shad on the surface and we picked up 8-10 more fish. Ken caught the largest fish at 4lbs 14oz. on a fluke.

We were off the water by 2pm.
