Got to check out a new lake and catch up with some old friends all in the same day.

Thought it was going to be one of those epic days when I caught 2 fish in my first 3 casts off the bank before I even put my boat in the water.  Unfotunatley, that pace did not keep up.

Fished from sun up to 2:30.  Fished both the main lake and the lake in back.  Only 4 fish were caught in the rear lake. 52 were caught in the main lake.

Most fish were caught in the flats straight across from the boat ramp in 5-7 feet of water.  Lots of good healthy fish with a few topping out right at 4 pounds.

Great property, great lake and great company.
