Reservation Number : 43274
Property Name : Travis Lake
Reservation Date : 04/25/2025 PM -
Total Fish/Sizes : 28
Lures Used : Spinnerbait, lipless crank, crawfish jig, swimbait, crankbait

I got there a little after 12 but it was starting to rain. I waited for 45 minutes before deciding to take the property jonboat out. The boat was great and new. Breeze was 5-10 mph and probably low 70s with the clouds & rain. The bite came in spurts and stretches. They were not taking hard moving baits which was probably from all the rain and muddy water. I had more success with cranks and lipless the last couple of times I was here this year. This time they like moving plastics. Lake level was finally back up and running over the corner of the dam. It later got sunny and hot. I'm already dreading the summer lol. Finished with 28 in which 10 were dinks and most were around 2#. Lost an absolute beast which i believe was around 9#. I think i missed at least 15 fish and the few were really good fish. I gotta make sure I have better and bigger hooks next time. Thank you owner and PWF!

How muddy was the water if you don't mind. I do not do well in muddy water but that lake is a good example of culling works. Decent fish are starting be less far n few between. It is a 25 min ride from my house

Hey John, it was clarity of milk if you know what I mean. Same throughout including the dam. You had to put the bait on top of them. It worked out better than I thought it would.
