Fishing had good numbers and weather was great just before a cold front passed through shortly after sunset. Lots of fish, but had a hard time finding the big ‘uns! My biggest was 17”; wife’s biggest was 16”. The fish loved green worms in the morning (sorry, Frank James!) and red in the afternoon. Pond seemed to be in good shape - plenty of water, good cover (lots of fish around the brush piles), clear.

Best part of the day was that my wife joined me - her first real bass fishing trip, and she loved it! She caught quite a few, and she is now hooked!

As always, Patty was gracious and the facilities were great.

That’s great. PWF is awesome for wives like mine who are not great anglers but love to get out.
And I think catching more fish per hour is better than catching one medium to large fish every few hours. Just my opinion…

Roger, I see you still put green worms in the mouths of fish you catch with red worms!  If God intended for bass to eat green, He would have made them vegetarians.

Seriously, I am so glad you and Debbie had a great time.  She will probably outfish both of us on future trips!

Congrats to Debbie.

Fished here 11/9. Very windy and didn’t catch any monsters but a great day fishing. Patty and facilities were great. Would be a good place to take the family.  They liked the green worm and the frog in the morn and the cotton candy worm in the evening. Active on the South end, very little on the north end. Will be back here.
