We just got a video update from the owner at Bowie – Backside of the Moon. The lake is full and looks great! We have reopened it and hope to get folks out soon to see how the fishing is. Usually in events like this you end up with lots of grassy banks and other habitat that hold fish.

I was wondering how that lake is doing. Didn't the li g to fill it back up with the rain. Area got 8” I believe last week or so.
Excited to have it back. This place has a small but rabid fan base. The long and rocky road keep some members away. But those who take the adventure are often rewarded.
