I fished am on Friday, May 16 – high of 92 and mostly cloudy with moderate winds. Topwater bite was good early along the shoreline.  Culled five bass, with a couple of crappie as a bonus!  This is a beautiful property and is extremely well-maintained. The best bass bite was along the east shore.

The black flies were ferocious.  Deet doesn’t deter them all that well.  Don’t know what their season is but you might want to bring a head net.
