Found mostly sunny skies and muddier water at Hickory Creek Ranch.  Day temp was up to 94 degrees, so definitely hotter than it has been.

Had quite a bit of luck gettting them to bite, and had many over 1 pounders. Everthing was working pretty well, except when i initially got there at noon. grass around bank had grown up to knee or a little better heighth. But still very fishable.

Had a great time again fishing around the bridge. Dusk is the best time for this. Not as good off the deck but managed a couple of nice bluegill. Caught about 30 bass just bank fishing. So all in all, a really good day.

I spoke with Wade, the owner a bit, and he as always, was super friendly.  He is a great land owner and i told him we appreciate the property. If you are in the area, visit Hickory Creek. Even when hot, if you stay on it, you will find the fish. They are definitely there.
