My first time fishing at Long Lake. We had some difficulty finding the lake on the property. I found a older post from someone who put some information in their post that was very helpful. If you haven’t been to this lake before, once you enter the property, travel down the road (the fence will be on your left). As the road bends to the right you’ll go about 100 yards and the fence line will bend to the left. There is also a white truck bed sitting in the grass and two fence posts in the shape of an X. Turn left there (there is really no road) and as you go down the fence line you’ll see the Long Lake sign on the gate.

We fished from about 7am – noon and caught 8. The largest being around 3 lbs. My buddy Joe caught what had to be 5 lbs plus but it broke off right at the boat. We caught a couple on a Pop R and the rest on Texas rigged Senkos and Power Worms. The shallow end of the lake had the all of top water action. A huge storm blew in about 9:45 and we had to ride it out in my truck. It lasted about an hour.  It is a beautiful lake with very blue water in the deep end (the dam end). We’ll be back to fish this one again.
