Mike and I fished from 12:15 until 5:30.  It was hot out, but partley cloudy skies and a light wind made it doable.  Water temperature was 86 – 88 degrees, water clarity 3’ and the lake was full.  Its been a long time since we fished Timber Lake, but was great to be back on it.  Just a beautiful property and so quite and peaceful.  We caught 61.  The biggest were several 3 lbs.  We harvested 40 bass & 1 crappie.  A wacky rigged Senko worked great, as well as a weightless Texas rigged fluke.  Late in the afternoon, had fun with a whooper plopper.  The majority of the fish were caught in 2’ to 6’ of water over grass.  Did get some right up against the bank.  The bite was steady all afternoon and we caught them all over the lake.  Boat ramp worked great.
