Started early, around 7:30, before the heat set in and found the bass hungry. Used exclusively a craw color chatterbait and they didn't stop hitting it until I was too tired to throw it anymore, around 1. Switched to a shaky head and caught several more and then left at 2:30 when my gas tank was empty and my hat had caught fire. Water temp was 82 and after last nights storm, the water was very stained with only 12-18 inch visibility.  All the bass were very chunky with the largest right at 3# but not a single one that needed culled. And for 38 fish, that is a very consistent and fun size fish to catch all day. Compared to some of my recent outings, this one was certainly a delight for quality. Been too long since my last trip here but a return is guaranteed, although maybe when things have cooled off some. Thanks to the property owner for providing access to the lake. Let's go!!
