Started out really early at the SE corner by the dam looking for big fish. SE wind at 5, so perfect calm shoreline. Took several videos and shared with my family. We celebrated our fathers togther from the Six O lake. Was a wonderful beautiful morning.

Tried a glide bait, wake bait, bigger swim bait. nothing. Went to a fluke (d-shad) and was getting bit but fish dropping it before i got leverage to set the hook. They were acting like pressured fish. Went to the other SW shoreline and downsized. That worked, and they were choking it. But i got bored so I moved across the first cove to the main lake point across from the dock, again looking for bigger fish. I caught one on a tx rig ribbon tail worm in green pumpin magic so stayed with it. then my wife called me about 10:30 and warned me about incoming weather. i looked at the radar on my phone and YIKES! I figured i had about an hour before it hit. “I dont remember that in the forecast” i thought to myself. Fished that shoreline towards the 2^nd cove, picked up a couple more on the tx rig, then i could see the front coming and decided to high tail it to the dock. I got there and secured the boat, got the stuff out i didnt want to get wet and put in my truck, and exactly 4 minutes later the wind went northerly and EPIC. The temperature and the barometer dropped and the lake whitecapping as i ate my lunch sitting in my truck. Fishing done i figured, so i put everything up and came home. 

My morning experience being able to share videos and stories with my family as i fished was worth 10 weather shortened trips. i am totally grateful to be able to do that and thank the owners of this magnifent ranch as well as PWF for the opportunity to be able to do that.
