We got out at about 9a in the morning and fished most of the day, taking a couple of hours around lunch. We went into Granger and ate at the Brewing Co in downtown. Good burger spot.

We fished with a lot of kids ages 6 – 12 so it was more maintenance than fishing for the adults. We did get everyone a fish, and most were good size. We fished Senkos and had the best luck in the deep water near the dam. It’s a great lake, but there is no chance at bank fishing. There are two boats available, one was large enough for an adult and two kids, the other was a two person max. The fish are healthy and put up a good fight. Will likely come back in the fall when temps come down some.
