14 in the boat and easily as many got off due to my poor hooksets, dull hooks, and / or acrobatic angry fish that threw the hook mid-air. Solid bite from noon-3:30 and again from 5:30-7:30. Every fish was a solid 2+ lbs and a few over 3.  This lake used to have a ton of aquatic vegetation by this time of year and the water was more clear. Now turbid and no weeds at all. Could get the boat all the way back into the back corner. The dam produced all day and later the banks that offered shade in the late afternoon. One of my fave lakes in da club because it's close, inexpensive, and almost always a good bite and it's usually not hard to book last-minute which suits my poor planning abilities. Olive jig with rage tail trailer worked best followed by black blue flaked stickbait wacky rigged.
