Reservation Number : 44033
Property Name : Acker Lake
Reservation Date : 07/08/2025 All Day -
Total Fish/Sizes : 46, most between 2.5 - 3 lbs with one 4.7 lbs and several at 3.5
Lures Used : TX Rig stick bail, Whopper Popper, Ned rig with White Stick bait

What a wonderful Fishery. I arrived at the property around 6:15 am and as I drove up towards the cottage I was greeted by a nice skunk. Just FYI, if you are staying at the cottage any time soon. I started fishing by 6:35 and on my second cast with a white Whopper Popper, it was on. The 4.7lb hit the Whopper Popper with a sound I had not heard in a long time. It seemed like every three of four cast I was getting a hit. I started fishing on the east back and drifting north. Anything just inside if the grass line was action. After about an hour of top water action, I switched to a speckled white TX rig stick bait with a spinner in the tail and started throwing along the inside tree line. I only had one bag of those speckled flake stick baits and after an hour I had to switch to another white and black stick rig because they had ripped up all my speckled stick baits.  I never caught anything along the west bank and pulled a few off the small Island and in the middle of the trees. I absolutely love this property. Water was stained but clear 12-18 inches down and all the bass were very healthy. I thought Timber Lake was nice, but Acker Lake is now my favorite property that I have fished in the club.  It is worth the 2 hr. drive from Frisco TX. I can’t wait to go back!!!
