I fished with my father from 7:15am to noon. Weather was in the upper 70s with light precipitation and overcast until about 10:00. The spinner bait and whopper plopper were a big hit during that time (caught the majority of our fish during this period.) Once the sun came out we switched to the senko and fluke. The bite slowed a bit and the wind was picking up as well. Water level was high but that was a good thing. It created little coves that would probably not be there otherwise, and the bass were aggressive in these areas. Our biggest catch was 2 lbs 11 oz but fought like a much bigger fish. All the bass we caught were good fighters and very healthy looking with good color. We removed 7 bass under the slot. This is a beautiful property with minimal weeds and very clear water. We had a great time and will definitely be returning soon. Thank you to the property owners for maintaining such a great pond and allowing us to visit.
