Not a good day for a little casual bank fishing. Started at dawn on Lake Raymond with Whopper Plopper and Rattle trap. Manged to catch a few. But all the action on the lake was about 75 yards out from the south bank. Fish were continuoulsy breaking the surface in hot pursuit. I watched and hoped they would push their prey closer to shore so I could join in the fun. It never happened and everything just stopped around 8:30 AM. I switched over to Golden Pond but things were quiet there  also. I can usually keep walking the banks and find enough fish to keep things interesting, but not today. I quit at 10 AM with only 4 fish and the temp had reached 90 degrees.  K-Bar is 45 minutes from my home and convenient for ½ day fishing.
