Fished Timber on Tuesday.  Arrived to the lake about 6:30 and while unloading I relized someone forgot to throw in the trolling motor and that someone was me!  So after about 5 minutes of loud cussing I decided to man up and go old school (single oar).  Started along the dam with a buzz bait, casting 3-4 times than paddling and repeat.  Caught 5 then drifted north and picked up another 4 on top water.  Swithched to spinners, chater and  squarebill with no success but wasnt sure if it was the baits or me paddling to reposition the boat evey 45 seconds.  Finally decided to paddle timber to timber and tie up using plastics, my go to green watermelon got a few hits but when I tried a new color for me, Red Bug it was on.  Caught 19 more before I got tired of paddling and decided to grab lunch and buy a piece of crap trolling motor at Wal Mart in Greenville.  When I got back on the water it was hot but the Red Bug worm was still on as I grabbed another 26.  In total caught 54 (one 5lb and two 4+lb, four 3+lb) the rest were all 1-2lbs, onlt had 13 that were unders and removed.
