Chris and I got to the lake at 7 am, fishing by 7:15 am. Chapo/whopper plopper was hit fist cast north of small island near launch. Lost that nice fish. Bass were keying on the shad. 2 inch shad. Chis caught 17 bass, 9 at 14 inches and below. 8 between 15 and 18 inches. Rattletrap, square bill crank, swimbait and spinnerbait. I caught 15 bass, 5 below 15 and 10 above 14.5 to 19.5. On whopper plopper and 3 inch spunk shad/juggo minnow.

A very fun day. Non stop action. This weather pattern is unusual for this time of year and is really turning the fish on. Clouds/south wind and drizzle/rain is great.
