Mike and I fished from noon to 5;30.  Lake level was full with a small amout of outflow.  Water temperature was 77 degrees and water claity was about 12”. Wasn’t much wind, which was nice for a change and it was great to be back out on the water.  We caught 11, with the biggest at 4 ½ lbs.  The rest, except for a couple of small ones, were between 3 & 4 lbs and fat.  A Texas rigged swim bait and a spinner bait were the two that worked.   Most of the fish were caught out on the flats by weed beds in the middle part of the lake.  Several were caught in the creek channel on the main part of the lake.  We tried at back at the end of the lake in the timber, where we had really good results that last time we were there, but only one this time.  Most of the road into the property is good.  From the last gate to the the lake, there are three berms that where holding recent rain water, but we got through them just fine in a 4-wheel drive.  Didn’t do as well this time, as in past trips, but a terrific property that Mike & I love to fish.
