Fry
I just wanted to say thank you to Steve, Keri and Brian for putting on a great fish fry. It was nice to meet everyone and all the members that attended.
John it was a pleasure to fish with you, and I do believe your big fish was the biggest caught that day, if it wasn’t 3lbs it was just shy of it.
Walter hats off to you for your efforts and expertise. I hope to talk to you soon. I didn’t finish my degree in marine biology and I would have distracted you and myself with my interest in your knowledge.
Six O Ranch has everything a great club lake needs as far as it’s size, proximity to DFW, beauty, and genetics in the fish. We need to harvest the little bass, they’re either real big or real little and no in between.
I hope everyone pulls together in the management of this site, it’s potential is huge.
Thanks to Don and his wife Pat showing me the cabbage type weeds. I finally found a heavy enough small bait for my cheap ultra light reel to get some distance on. After 4pm I caught 30+ big bluegills and at least 30 bass.
I caught them on a micro rooster tail (white). The last fish I caught was a 15” bass and it broke the hook off the bait in the boat. I loaded up and made a few more casts before dark with a chrome red eye and caught 5 more at the dock.
Don thanks for the tips, those are the biggest bream I have ever caught in my life. If we all help to clean out those little bass, this site will be incredible.
God Bless

Brian, You are welcome. Pat and I enjoyed your company and enthusiasm in chasing the big Gills. Six-O has some real trophy perch.
