We had positive expectations of our trip to Blue Rock because of our previous trip to Salt Lick on the same property.

The conditions seem favorable. We got a few slaps and some top water early. And we fished hard for three hours throwing plastics, spinners, and rattle traps. The only luck we had was on worms and flukes. We caught four fish under 14 inches and 1 15 inch fish.

They kept getting a bunch of nibbles. We discovered those were brim and we caught lots of small brim just for fun.
