Julian Lake was everything you guys said it would be.  We boated somewhere around 40 fish with most of the fish being around two pounds and fighting hard.  I had never seen crappie schooling before so that was a first.  They were pushing bait all around us and we were chunking and winding wake baits and it had their number.  Finesse style baits were the ticket for the blackies though.

The vegetation really limited what you could throw.  Water clarity was up to about 24 inches.  We caught around five that went two and a half pounds but no big ones.  It was a fantastic day overall.
