On November 4th my son Jack and I made a return trip to SW for an afternoon session. Fishing was a bit slow but a great day to be outdoors! We caught 13 nice bass to 4#, all on square bill crank baits, and one lone fish on a buzzbait. All fish caught in 4 - 6 feet of water with a fast retrieve.
There was no action whatever on plastics. All in all, a very nice late Fall day.
I really appreciate the opportunity that PWF provides for me to spend some quality time fishing with my son. Every trip to PWF lakes has been a pleasure - a first-class experience!

Thanks for the kind words. I also love the fact that we have lots of father son memberships. There are dozens of them. The Hurst family has 4 family members with 3 living in Dallas and 1 living in Houston. It is a great way for the family to get together. They often meet at lakes that are equadistant from Dallas and Houston, for some male bonding time. In fact they are enjoying a 3 day trip together at Laneville and Longbranch this week!
