1/31/13.  Fished the afternoon with my fishing partner and we encountered whitecaps on the lake.  Had to duck into the coves to have any luck.  We caught a total of 5 bass, largest being 2.11 lbs.  Harvested 2 less than 14 inches.  Air temp:  58 degrees.  Water temp:  55. Wind 10-20 mph.  We realized we were “pushing” the season, but it was nice to see that the water level of the lake had come up from two recent storms and made it easier to get from the launch into the main lake.
