Fished Thompson Ranch on Sunday 2/3/13 from around 1 til 4 pm. Took wife and she enjoyed walking around and talking to the 2 friendly brown and white horses and the donkey that came to visit us. She really enjoys going out to the properties with me and walking around and clearing her head from the everyday stress of life. I almost have her ready to start looking for some property of our own. I caught 5 small fish got 3 to the bank and kept them. Pretty slow day with lots of north wind and chilly. As I was heading back to truck I was not paying much attention and was just chunking and winding a senko pretty fast and had a huge blowup, let the bait sit for a count of 5 and then set hook and caught a nice big fish, at least 6# and would have bigger but was not fat at all. Wife took pictures and a video. I will send picture in, really pretty fish with huge eyes. Made a nice day a great day.
