Fingerling
Fished an afternoon trip alone today at Tom Bean. Started around 12:15 and was very surprised about how much the lake was up. Water was fairly clear and no problems lauching or getting out to main lake. Water temp was around 60 degrees and wind was around 5-10, but later it got calm which is pretty unusual for that lake. Started out using crankbaits and ended up using crankbaits. Had 17 bass and 1 crappie with the largest being 4.8. Harvested 7 bass and 1 crappie average length was 16-18”. Lots of quality fish at 9G had one on guessing 8 or better maybe next time! Been to 9G 3 or 4 times so far and I’m yet to be disappointed!
